AmericanSingles.com isn’t any better, and should be avoided, but this barely even touches the really scary dating sites like dailydiaper.com (yes pics of people who like to wear diapers are waiting to meet you), or the numerous sites dedicated to convict dating with the prisoners release date in their profile. Another fantastic one is FarmersOnly.com so if your into farming and you want company beside the tractors and cattle this is your site.

Then you have DateMyPet.com promises to hook up pet lovers with other pet lovers, and not lovers with their pets. The thought is not too terrible – after all a dog on a leash can be excellent ice breaker when trying to strike up a conversation with a hot girl at the park — but I reckon that this site goes a bit overboard when its users are questioned to set up dating profiles for their pets and then people are matched based not just on their own compatibility but also on that of their pets.

There is an entire slew of slightly weird and odd dating web sites, in fact way to many to veil in a single article. I do but advise caution in contacting folks on some of them or you may raze up with shaved testicles and a yorkie for a roommate, a tale for another time.

But before we can even hope to learn to treat a girl, we need to shatter some well loved myths of the female gender in regards to dating. Why don’t men like to watch “chick flicks”? I reckon many of you would agree, aside from some cheesy one-liners, that such movies open to make an notion of man that we aren’t-it makes us aware of our flaws. And no one likes to be told that they have flaws. You see the actor in his perfect world with his perfect job and perfect life-and you wonder how the heck am I supposed to live up to so such an impossible standard. The truth-you don’t.

Dating Tip: You have to be Clark Gable in a Titanic society. The boat is sinking and you are the only one that can achieve her.

Rippling Biceps and Washboard Stomachs
You probably don’t have them, and she probably doesn’t care. I’m not saying it doesn’t distress to watch like an oiled machine, but a girl should NEVER be the reason you spend 6 days at the gym. The first thing we have to change is how we behold ourselves. Whoever said misery likes company was an idiot. No one likes to be around negative people. No one! And we wonder why girls always talk about how stout they are, or how gorgeous she is. You are the leader-LEAD! Show her how it’s done. You don’t have to be a jerk, but you do need to be confident. Dress better, not different-better. Here’s a huge one-SHOWER! It’s incredible what a limited Axe body spray and a LOT of soap can do for a man. Don’t come to the table not knowing your life goals, I guarantee that she has concept about hers. Even if its just I want to end school and fetch a excellent job doing something I like-be a Goal Setter.

Let’s recap: Be a leader and Shower. That seems gorgeous simple to me. You will bag that in life you can do anything when you learn to carry yourself with self-respect. You will get that grade. My friend Clay and I aged to drive around town while we were hanging out and view a random place that we knew his girl (my best friend) would like. He would make a mental note. A place when she was feeling indecisive, that he could take her. You just have to mediate.

No you’re not in distress, so let we can rule out your standard “I’m sorry” roses. She will line you up and compare to every guy in past, including her father. This could be excellent, but more than likely will be terrible. You have to surpass all of those men’s failures. Some guys refuse to date a girl with “baggage”, but let me be the first to admit as a man I HAVE BAGGAGE. Everyone does. The difference goes back to the beginning. Penis vs. Vagina. It’s all in how we process it. She is a complex creature. The how is up to you, you are going to have to be larger, better, and more aware of your faults than anyone in her past. Which is pretty hard, considering you probably have no thought what happened in her past. My only advise-be vulnerable. Grunt her your struggles. Don’t make it long and sad. Just tell her your struggles. She will open up. The only other thing you need is time.

Dating Tip: There is no copy and paste diagram of dealing with this. I wish there was. But there isn’t.

Sex
With American hits like “I’ll make like to you” and “Let’s get it on”, its not surprising how often we reckon about sex. But, its time to start thinking with a different head and start doing things right; yes I’m talking about abstinence. And just so we are clear oral sex is included. I know that this must be quite the disappointment to many of you (as I’m sure many of you skipped directly to this section). But, don’t scrutinize at it as something you can’t do-look at it as something you are waiting to do. Any man can place his penis in a hole and ejaculate-it’s really not that hard. If it were we would probably have more virgins, because let’s face it men-we are just bone idle. I can’t continue without writing this: I am not a virgin. I would be a real hypocrite if I did. But, I can tell you that I have been dating my fiancé’ for over a year, and until a few weeks ago we had never kissed. WOW what an incredible kiss that was. To avoid contradicting myself-it was objective like the movies. And if waiting for a kiss feels that excellent-waiting for sex, not a problem.

Remember it’s your job to treat her right, the method she deserves. Do you really reckon she deserves to have man after man she dates take advantage of her sexually? Because is she does (which in case you were wondering, she doesn’t), so does your sister and your mother.

Dating Tip: Wait for sex-at all levels, until you are married.

Maintaining the standard
All of this to say dating isn’t an simple task. So as you sit across from that girl in the cafeteria, consider all things before you go up and talk to her-which you should. Retain in mind that you are not just hooking up with some random girl; you can do that downtown for $175/hr. And more than likely you are going to have to compete with every other man in her life, past and present. She may not want to be a treated like a princess. Ever girl IS a princess, they honest have different castles, different dragons, and different obstacles. And with those come different articles. At church, sex was mentioned, if ever sex was mentioned at all, only in the context of fornication, carnal sin, prostitution, homosexuality, and other sinful practices. Masturbation was a sin as well. Sex was something married couples loved but only to procreate. How closely the men and women of those churches adhered to the austere and rather unemotional viewpoint of that proffered interpretation is anyone’s guess.

Most Christians would find the first topic an issue of privacy and modesty. Many Christians would find the second topic unseemly, but the article written by Cumingirl lets you know straight away that the practice of role playing and the wearing of costumes is not for everyone and may even be considered sinful by some, that couples should only enter into the practice if they are comfortable. And “Position #39″ is about oral sex, a topic many Christians consider verboten and upon which many would not even seek advice. Still, it is straight-up advice about positioning, complete with a stick-figure graphic for those that might have a hard time grasping the belief.

ChristianNymphos.org has been getting a small more traffic since they were mentioned in the online magazine Slate. They also have a website on MySpace that is attracting considerable attention.

One thing is certain: ChristianNymphos is a very progressive and open-minded treatment of sex, a blog that seriously addresses sex and sexual relationships for Christians (although curious non-Christians will find it informative as well). It goes a long way to dispelling images of Christians as nearly sex-less individuals simply procreating in the “be fruitful and multiply” vein, worried of their own bodies and horrified that god might show his displeasure for couples having sex other than in the standard missionary position.
